pike-peak-fr
Free fun treks offer you to visit A newly opened Pikey Cultural Trekking Trail in the middle hill of eastern Nepal is an option for the visitors looking for isolation. The region is close to Kathmandu yet it’s an unbeaten path that offers opportunities to see Mount Everest, experiencing unspoiled culture and tradition of Sherpas and is very admired for sunrise and sunset views, with the glorious sight of the peaks that stretch beyond Kathmandu in the west, and Makalu and the highest mountain Everest, in the east. July is the best time year as very interesting local festival takes. Rhododendrons bloom during the spring season. Pike Peak trek takes you to the foothills of Khumbu region offering scintillating mountainous vistas of Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Gaurishankar, Mt. Numbur, Mt. Thamserku etc. The sunrise and sunset view on the Himalayas is the gravity of this trek. The trekking route has been recently discovered and is not usually flocked with trekkers. Any age group with a generic fitness level can good enough for the trek. Ascending to the Pike Peak at a meager 4645m, you can witness the jaw-dropping view of the surrounding snow-capped giants. As you walk along the beautiful remote “off the tourist tracks”, you are certain to stumble upon the hidden wonders of the Himalayas and relish the warm and cordial Himalayan hospitality and rich culture. The region is an abode to the multifarious floras and faunas, including five different species of lusty rhododendrons. Trekking during the Spring and Autumn gives you the opportunity to witness Sherpa festivals – Dumjee and Mani Rimdu respectively, in which the monks perform bizarre mask dances.
